My name is Ben, my pronouns are they/them. I have a Bachelor’s degree in Genetics, an MPhil in Multi-Disciplinary Gender Studies, and a PhD in Sociology and Social Policy. I think talking about gender and intersecting inequalities is important (as can be seen from the introduction post). This is where I try to communicate things I’ve learnt, in order to educate and entertain.
This blog posts updates somewhat sporadically – I will update if I ever manage to commit to a regular routine!

Hi Ben, my name is also Ben, my pronouns are he/him. I am the research and policy coordinator for Opening Doors a charity that supports older LGBTQ+ people. I would like to invite someone who has/is carrying out research around the health of older trans people to speak at are health and wellbeing conference (zoom webinar) on Wednesday 1st December. Do you know anyone I can contact to discuss? Many thanks, Ben
